Do you know about this? When I saw the publicity for it, I thought of your blog. This is part of "The Anthropocene Project" — a "multidisciplinary body of work combining fine art photography, film, virtual reality, augmented reality, and scientific research to investigate human influence on the state, dynamic, and future of the Earth." The associated travelling exhibition of Edward Burtynsky's photographs ("Anthopocene") is currently showing at the National Gallery of Canada, in Ottawa, and at the Art Gallery of Ontario, in Toronto.

See https://www.edwardburtynsky.com/events/2018/9/28/anthropocene.
